Fan Art - Daenerys Targaryen

Daenerys Targaryen

Fan art of daenerys targaryen/khalessi

One of my recent drawings (when I say recent I mean earlier this year) it's only small, but it really built my confidence when I completed this. I was on a mad GOT spree, which reminds me I must catch up on the latest! Enjoy! Hopefully I will be trying out a Tyrion Lannister paintng when I have some spare time.

VOKA - Youtube

VOKA

I remember seeing this ages ago and though, you know what I should blog it! So I did! I love the style of these portraits, he doesn't seem to stress over details and they come out looking fabulous! It has inspired me to try out this kinda of style, the vivid mix and match of colours. And might help me to stop stressing over tiny details. ENVYYYY!

Closure of The Public sad times!

The Public to be closed

Thought I'd put out a little shout out for The Public art gallery, as it is scheduled to close in November. I am grateful that some of my work was accepted in to their annual summer shows 2012/2013. It offered such a good array of different types of art along with activities for all ages. But who knows maybe it will some how miraculously stay as it is! Not forgetting in sixth form our teacher would manage to have our work displayed their for a short while at the end of each year. Many good and outrageous memories!
Here are some of the works that were shown of mine!

Coloured pencil portrait of my Nan. A4 completed I think 2 years ago, I personally think I can improve upon this now but it will forever be one of my best drawings!

When I first completed this I wasn't too happy with it, but over time I've learned to like it! Surprisingly!
Conte crayon on A3 cartridge paper, completed in 2012 foundation year at University.

Other blogs/sites I have!

  My Other Blogs!

     Because one blog isn't enough...

Just a little note I also have some longer running blogs...well three to be exact.

Devinatart is the longest running blog I have so you'll have to excuse any work on there that is not to a standard I'd like, as it was probably done a good two years ago. Even though it doesn't look professional I like it as it shows some of my skills getting better over time and it's just nice to flick through those images from time to time. But I do cringe and delete the odd one!

Wordpress and facebook are my newest ones I love the look of wordpress and in that it is by far my Favorite. However facebook is a lot more out there and I get more feedback on there so feel free to follow me on any of these!

Here is and example of a piece I did for fun!

Gandalf - Completed in 2013 on brown paper, with fineliner various size, white gel pen and correction pen.
I got bored of doing straight forward portraits and try to make them realistic so I decided to try out another style. At the time the style I had in mind was strongly influence by some of Leonardo Da Vinci's sketches.
