Third and final project for this module of my Illustration course was to design a single and double page spread. Given two choices of children's book by Oliver Jeffers, I chose his book The way back home. Our lecturers decided on two pages for us to illustrate in our own way, of course not forgetting to research styles and looking at how children move which I looked at through old photographs of my brother.
So here you go, the single page. (Which I am not very pleased with but I am very happy with the character.)
And finally the double page, featuring special appearances of my guinea pigs turned in to aliens!
